Rescue workers continue search and rescue operations following the missile and drone attack

In Kyiv, an increase in the number of fatalities has been recorded as a result of Russia’s nighttime airstrike on residential areas. As of this morning, the death toll has reached four, with thirty people injured.
Scale of Destruction and Emergency Services Response
According to official information, as a result of the massive shelling, high-rise buildings, a hospital, a diplomatic mission, as well as commercial and office premises have been damaged. The vast majority of the strikes targeted residential areas of the capital. Approximately 300 rescue workers and 500 police officers are involved in the aftermath response, working at 22 different locations across the city.

Search and Rescue Operations Continue
Emergency services have noted that there may still be people trapped under the rubble. Rescue teams are working with utmost caution, trying to locate survivors and provide assistance to the injured. The operation to mitigate the effects of the attack is ongoing around the clock.
“According to updated information, four people have died as a result of the nighttime attack… The number of those injured from the enemy attack has risen to 30,” the report states.
Law enforcement officials emphasized that the occupiers are deliberately targeting Kyiv’s civilian infrastructure. At the sites of the shelling, rescue workers and police are operating with maximum caution, as not all bodies have been found yet, and some individuals may still be trapped under the rubble of residential buildings.
