Road works are starting in the Svyatoshyn and Podil districts of Kyiv, which will affect traffic flow.

Starting today, partial restrictions for drivers are being introduced on several streets in the capital due to ongoing road surface repairs. This has been announced by the city’s utility services.
Restrictions on Hostomel Highway
In the Svyatoshyn district, from September 12 to 14, drivers should expect partial road closures on Hostomel Highway. Road workers emphasize that the municipal enterprise SHEU of the Svyatoshyn district will be conducting current repairs on the highway towards Mykilska Street. The works may cause some inconvenience for traffic.
“From September 12 to 14, traffic will be partially restricted on Hostomel Highway in the Svyatoshyn district of the capital,” the announcement states.
Repairs on Vasyl Poryk Street
At the same time, in the Podil district, from September 12 to October 31, utility services will restrict traffic on Vasyl Poryk Street. Here, the SHEU of the Podil district will be carrying out current repairs on the section from house No. 7 to Svobody Avenue. Drivers are advised to plan alternative routes in advance to avoid traffic jams and loss of time.
The city authorities urge road users to adhere to temporary traffic signs and to closely monitor updates regarding traffic organization during the repair works.
