VAKS Sets 100 Million UAH Bail for Kyiv Developer Vlada Molchanova

Court Ruling Regarding the Suspect

The High Anti-Corruption Court has imposed a preventive measure for developer Vlada Molchanova, who is involved in a case concerning the illegal acquisition of large land plots in Kyiv. The court ordered a bail of 100 million hryvnias, placing corresponding procedural obligations on the suspect.

“By the court’s decision, a preventive measure in the form of bail in the amount of 100 million UAH has been applied to the individual, along with the imposition of relevant procedural obligations,” the statement reads.

Details of the Case and Preventive Measure for Another Suspect

As clarified by the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office, the investigating judge of VAKS partially satisfied the request of NABU detectives, which was agreed upon by the prosecutor. The case also involves a lawyer who acted in the interests of a former member of the Ukrainian parliament. For him, the court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention with an alternative of posting 10 million hryvnias bail.

Law enforcement officials noted that after reviewing the full text of the court ruling, the issue of potentially appealing the chosen preventive measure will be considered.

This case has generated significant resonance in capital circles, as the main figure is the well-known developer Vlada Molchanova.
