The Kremlin urged the United States not to disclose details of the recent negotiations, while emphasizing that it “does not dismiss the peace plan.”

The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Rustam Umerov, along with the Chief of the General Staff, Andriy Hnatov, are preparing a meeting with representatives of former U.S. President Donald Trump. The negotiations are planned to take place in the United States.

Preparation for Negotiations in the U.S.

According to information released by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on his Telegram channel, preparatory actions will begin after Umerov and Hnatov hold talks today in Brussels with national security advisors from European countries.

“Ukrainian representatives will inform their European colleagues about what is known following yesterday’s contacts with the American side in Moscow, as well as discuss the European component in the necessary security architecture,” wrote the President of Ukraine.

Kremlin’s Position and Details of the Negotiations

Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov noted that various aspects were discussed during the meeting, including territorial issues and bilateral cooperation between Russia and the U.S. He reported that a document with 28 points was prepared during the negotiations, and later four additional documents emerged, the essence of which he did not disclose.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov remarked that the information circulated about Putin rejecting the U.S. peace plan is incorrect. According to him, work on these issues will continue.

Peskov also emphasized that the Kremlin has no intention of disclosing the content of yesterday’s meeting and hopes that the United States will also refrain from revealing details of the negotiations between Putin and Trump’s representatives.
