Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled over 230 attacks from Russia in a day: details of the battles on the front

The situation on the front remains tense – over the past day, Ukrainian forces repelled 234 attacks from Russian occupiers.

Intensity of battles and enemy losses

The main combat actions took place in the Pokrovsk, Oleksandrivsk, and Lyman directions, where the enemy attempted to break through the Ukrainian defenses most actively. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, approximately 1,060 Russian soldiers were eliminated during the day, along with one tank, six armored combat vehicles, 22 artillery systems and multiple launch rocket systems, as well as 219 operational-tactical level drones, 18 cruise missiles, and 72 units of automotive and special equipment, including fuel tankers.

“The enemy launched one missile and 73 air strikes, employed 32 missiles, and dropped 155 guided aerial bombs. Additionally, they conducted 4,171 shellings, including 98 from multiple launch rocket systems, and deployed 4,575 kamikaze drones for strikes,” the General Staff reported.

Overview of the situation on the front lines

In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, there were 13 combat engagements over the past day. The Southern Slobozhansky direction recorded 26 enemy attacks. In the Kupiansk direction, 12 attempts at an offensive were noted.

Active combat actions continued in the Lyman direction – the enemy attacked 24 times, while in the Sloviansk direction, they attempted to advance eight times. The Kramatorsk direction saw one unsuccessful attack by the occupiers.

In the Kostiantynivka direction, 22 attacks were recorded, while the Pokrovsk direction became the epicenter of enemy activity – here, Ukrainian defenders repelled 72 assaults near 20 populated areas.

In the Oleksandrivsk direction, the Defense Forces repelled 28 enemy attacks. In the Orikhiv direction, there were seven combat engagements. The Dnipro direction noted five repelled attacks by the occupiers towards the Antonivsk bridge.

At the same time, in the Huliaipole direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions, indicating a temporary lull in the region.
