Vitaliy Buyalskyi will not play in the return match of the Champions League qualification

The midfielder of Kyiv’s Dynamo, Vitaliy Buyalskyi, will be unable to participate in the return match of the second qualifying round of the Champions League against the Maltese club Hamrun Spartans due to an injury he sustained.

The head coach explained Buyalskyi’s absence

As reported by Dynamo’s head coach Oleksandr Shovkovskyi, the decision not to include the player in the squad for the match was made solely for health safety reasons. According to the coach, there is a risk of aggravating the injury, so the club decided not to take any chances with Buyalskyi’s condition.

“Unfortunately, we will not be able to count on Vitaliy Buyalskyi in this game. He has an injury, and to avoid making it worse, we have to leave him out of the match squad,” said Shovkovskyi.

Other personnel losses and the results of the first match

In addition to Buyalskyi, Ángel Torres and Valentyn Rubchynskyi are still recovering from injuries. The medical staff is working on their rehabilitation, but currently, these players are also unable to assist the team.

Recall that in the first match of the second qualifying round of the Champions League, Dynamo secured a confident victory over the Maltese Hamrun Spartans with a score of 3:0. Vitaliy Buyalskyi scored the second goal in the match and provided an assist to Vladyslav Vanat, making a significant contribution to the capital club’s victory.
