The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has made a working visit to Paris, where he arrived to hold talks with the President of France, Emmanuel Macron. This was reported by the spokesperson for the head of state, Serhiy Nykyforov.

Main Discussion Topics between Zelensky and Macron
During the visit, the leaders of Ukraine and France plan to discuss the current situation in Ukraine, as well as the support provided by France and European partners in the defense of the Ukrainian state. Key issues include ways to increase pressure on Russia, particularly enhancing measures against the so-called “shadow fleet” of the Russian Federation.
This meeting marks the eleventh international visit for Volodymyr Zelensky since the onset of the full-scale aggression by the Russian Federation against Ukraine.
Security Guarantees and Prisoner Exchange
During the talks, the presidents intend to exchange views on creating conditions for a just and lasting peace, as well as to summarize the fulfillment of commitments made within the Coalition of Willing regarding security guarantees for Ukraine.
“The presidents will also exchange views on the ‘conditions for a just and lasting peace and in this regard will summarize the commitments made within the Coalition of Willing regarding security guarantees.’
It is worth noting that a trilateral meeting of representatives from Ukraine, the USA, and Russia was planned for early March, but it was postponed due to the escalation of the situation in the Middle East.
Earlier, during January and February, several rounds of trilateral negotiations between Ukraine, the USA, and Russia took place regarding the end of the war, but no specific results from these negotiations were officially announced. At the same time, after the meeting on February 5, the delegations reached an agreement on the exchange of prisoners of war — the first such agreement in five months.
