As a result of an Iranian missile strike on the Israeli city of Bat Yam, three Ukrainian children, the mother of one of them, and a grandmother who is considered missing were killed. This tragedy, which occurred on June 14, serves as yet another testament to the similarities between the Iranian and Russian regimes.

Death of a Ukrainian Family in Israel
Among the victims are seven-year-old Anastasia Burik from Odesa, her mother, and two other children. It is noted that the girl was in Israel for treatment of cancer and was awaiting a bone marrow transplant. Following the strike on the residential building, one person went missing, likely the grandmother of the deceased children.
“Iran killed seven-year-old Anastasia Burik from Odesa, her mother, and two other children in Israel’s Bat Yam with a missile strike on a residential building – a total of four fatalities and one person missing. The girl was receiving treatment for cancer abroad and was awaiting a bone marrow transplant. Since 2022, Russia has been killing Ukrainians, our children, with Iranian drones. They use missiles against civilians. And they support Iran today as they strike civilians in Israel. The same is possible everywhere where terrorists disguise themselves as states – the regimes in Iran and Russia are terrorists. They are the same in every way,” asserts Yermak.
Escalation of the Conflict and Israel’s Response
On June 13, Israel began airstrikes on targets in Iran, primarily focusing on sites related to the nuclear program, buildings of security forces, as well as nuclear scientists and high-ranking military officials. According to official Iranian sources, 224 individuals were killed in these attacks, most of whom, according to Tehran, were civilians.
Israel also reminded that throughout 2024, Iran launched two massive missile strikes on Israeli territory – on April 13 and October 1. After June 13, several more missile attacks were carried out, resulting in 24 fatalities and nearly 600 injuries.
