Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reacted to the massive air attack by Russia that took place on September 3, emphasizing its demonstrative nature. In his opinion, these strikes showcase an attempt by the Russian leadership to feel their own impunity and influence the international community.

Massive Strike on Civilian Objects
On the night of September 3, Russian forces used 526 means of destruction, including over 500 strike drones and 24 missiles. The main targets of the enemy were civilian infrastructure – energy facilities, a transport hub, a garage cooperative, as well as the residential sector. As a result of this shelling, dozens of residential buildings were damaged in various regions of Ukraine.

Ukraine Calls for Decisive Measures and International Support
Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized the need to intensify international pressure on Russia and announced that he would raise the issue of tougher sanctions during his European tour on September 3 and 4. The President of Ukraine reported that a summit involving Northern European and Baltic states will soon take place in Denmark, where strengthening support for Ukraine will be discussed. In the evening, bilateral negotiations are planned in France aimed at coordinating joint efforts.
Additionally, Zelensky noted that new steps are being prepared in cooperation with the European Union and the United States, as well as the expansion of the coalition of countries willing to support Ukraine.
According to the advisor to the head of the President’s Office, Mykhailo Podolyak, on September 4, Zelensky will visit Paris, where meetings are scheduled with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, and UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer. During these negotiations, the parties plan to conduct intensive consultations regarding security guarantees for Ukraine.
