“The Head of the Security Service of Ukraine reported on the investigation into the circumstances of the attack on volunteer Serhiy Sternenko. The Security Service of Ukraine has detained the attacker — promptly, thank you for that.”
Zelensky added that all details and facts regarding the attack will be made public. As is known, the day before, SBU employees prevented the murder of the activist by thwarting an attack using firearms. According to agency representatives, “thanks to the professional and immediate actions of the SBU employees, the attacker was detained at the crime scene,” the agency reported. Investigative and operational measures are ongoing.
