The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, announced that he has already made a decision regarding the candidate for the position of the new head of the President’s Office. However, the name of the future leader is not being disclosed at this time. According to the head of state, official information about the new head of the Office will be released later.

“As for the head of the Office – I have made my decision. Information will come a little later,” he told reporters.

For now, the name of the future head of the President’s Office remains unknown. Zelensky also noted that changes in the composition of the heads of regional administrations are planned for early next year.

Possible candidates for the position of head of the President’s Office

Earlier, a member of parliament from the Servant of the People party, Bohdan Kytsak, reported on Radio Liberty that, according to his information, the most likely candidate for the position of head of the President’s Office is the current Minister of Digital Transformation, Mykhailo Fedorov. Subsequently, Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed that Fedorov is among the candidates being considered for this position, but the final choice has not yet been disclosed.

Searches and the resignation of Andriy Yermak

On November 28, it became known that searches were being conducted at the head of the President’s Office. Andriy Yermak commented on this situation, emphasizing that “there are no obstacles for the investigators.” Official information regarding the reasons for the searches and Yermak’s status has not been disclosed, and according to media reports, he did not have the status of a suspect.

On the same day, President Zelensky announced that he had received a resignation letter from the current head of the President’s Office, Andriy Yermak. The head of state thanked Yermak for his work in negotiations and emphasized the importance of avoiding rumors and speculation surrounding this situation.
