The government has announced a tender for urgent conservation works in the Government Building, which was damaged during a missile strike by Russia on September 7. The expected cost of the works exceeds 7.7 million hryvnias.

Conditions for Performing the Works and Requirements for the Contractor
According to the tender documentation, the contracting authority is the Administration of Administrative Buildings of the Economic and Financial Department of the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. The competition to determine the contractor for emergency works is scheduled for September 26.
“It is noteworthy that one of the main conditions for carrying out the activities is that all works must be performed without halting the operation of the facility and ensuring unobstructed access for personnel to their workplaces. At the same time, all necessary safety measures must be taken.”
The contractor is required to minimize interference with the actual structure of the building, which has the status of a cultural heritage site. At the same time, violations of the load-bearing capacity of the structures are not permitted.
List of Emergency Measures and Deadlines
The list of urgent measures includes temporary unloading of structures using wooden posts made of logs, reinforcement with metal elements, installation of a new roof with sealing and insulation, as well as fire protection for wooden structures and a number of other works.
The contractor must complete all emergency measures by December 19 of the current year.
