The Economic Court of Kyiv has ruled to return a land plot of nearly 7 hectares in the Solomyansky district of the capital, valued at approximately 190 million hryvnias.

Court Ruling on Land Return
According to the case materials, the plot was under the permanent use of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES). However, as law enforcement discovered, the actual users of the land were private enterprises that had no legal grounds for conducting business activities on state-owned land.
The investigation also established that there were no objects belonging to the SES on this plot, which became an additional reason for reviewing its legal status.
Prosecutor’s Lawsuit and Case Details
Considering the identified violations, the district prosecutor’s office filed a lawsuit demanding the termination of the right of permanent use of this plot, the return of the land to state ownership, the cancellation of the Kyiv City State Administration’s order regarding its division, and the recognition of the state registration of 13 newly created plots in the State Land Cadastre as invalid.
The Economic Court of Kyiv, agreeing with the prosecutor’s arguments, found the claims justified and satisfied them in full with its ruling.
Thus, the land plot has been returned to the ownership of the capital community, which will help prevent the illegal use of state resources by private entities.
