At Kyiv Zoo, a special treat for hoofed animals will be organized for St. Nicholas Day – an apple picnic, which will take place on December 6 and 7. Visitors will be able to watch as the children’s favorites enjoy juicy fruits.

Festive Apple Treats for Hoofed Animals

During the celebration, zoo guests will have the opportunity to see how alpacas, Przewalski’s horses, red deer, antelopes, and zebras receive their favorite apples. The event will last for two days – on Saturday and Sunday. The organizers are convinced that such events bring joy to both adults and children, and the animals become true helpers of St. Nicholas in creating a festive atmosphere.

“Alpacas, Przewalski’s horses, red deer, antelopes, and even zebras will crunch on juicy fruits,” the press service of Kyiv Zoo reported.

Schedule of Demonstrative Feedings

Zoo staff invite everyone interested to join the festive picnic and watch the feeding of the hoofed animals according to the following schedule:

  • Alpacas – 12:00
  • Przewalski’s horses – 12:10
  • Red deer – 12:20
  • Antelopes – 12:30
  • Zebras – 12:40

During the festive event, young visitors and their families will receive positive emotions, and the animals of Kyiv Zoo will help create an atmosphere of true wonder for St. Nicholas Day.
