According to a statement from the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers, “At its meeting on April 15, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a resolution to dismiss Artyukh Volodymyr Mykolayovych from the position of Head of the Sumy Regional State Administration.” These personnel changes took place as a result of the events that occurred on April 13, when Russian troops attacked the city, resulting in the deaths of 35 people and injuring around 200 others.
The attack targeted a building of an educational institution where a ceremony was planned to honor military personnel — an initiative supported by the Sumy Regional Military Administration. This tragedy has sparked widespread public outcry and prompted a response at the highest state level.
