Features of the Celebration and Educational Innovations for Graduates

Considering the conditions of martial law and the experience gained during the pandemic, new approaches to celebrating the end of the school year are being introduced in Kyiv. Instead of the traditional class-based system, a personalized group format of education is planned for 11th-grade graduates, allowing for a deeper exploration of selected subjects and ensuring a more personalized approach.

According to representatives of the city authorities, after the festive conclusion of the school year, from May 31 to June 30, educational institutions will focus on conducting remedial classes. This will help address educational gaps and assist students in their social and psychological adaptation. During this period, summer courses for creative development, language clubs, practices in the subject of ‘Defense of Ukraine’, tactical medicine training, life safety, mine safety, cybersecurity, and other activities relevant to current challenges will be organized.

Process of Issuing Educational Documents

The issuance of educational documents in Kyiv will be carried out in accordance with the security situation. Certificates of primary education will be issued to students from June 2 to June 6, basic secondary education certificates from June 11 to June 14, and certificates of complete general secondary education from June 18 to June 21.
