Unique Artifacts from Different Eras
Among the transferred exhibits are historical items of significant value to the national heritage. They date from the 6th millennium BC to the early 20th century. The collection includes ancient tools and household items, such as chisels, keys, knives, as well as coins, Scythian arrowheads, sabers, porcelain figurines, and many other artifacts. All these items were previously seized due to attempts to illegally export them beyond Ukraine’s borders.

Where the Values Were Transferred
The artifacts have enriched the collections of leading museum institutions in the capital and regions. Among them are the National Museum of the History of Ukraine, the National Military-Historical Museum of Ukraine, the Museum of the History of Kyiv, the National Architectural Museum “Kyiv Fortress”, the National Historical and Cultural Reserve “Hetman Capital”, the Museum of Decorative Arts, and the Rzhyshchiv Archaeological and Local History Museum.

Thanks to the efforts of Kyiv customs, valuable monuments from various eras have remained in Ukraine and become part of the national cultural heritage.
