In Kyiv, plans are underway to remove hazardous trees in city cemeteries, for which over 3 million hryvnias have already been allocated from the city budget.

The municipal enterprise “Specialized Combined Enterprise for Public and Household Services” has organized a tender to select a contractor for the removal of dangerous trees in the capital’s cemeteries. As a result of the open bidding, the contract was awarded to entrepreneur Kyrylo Serhiyovych Shevchenko. The contract amount is 3 million 150 thousand hryvnias.

Scope of Work and Deadlines

As part of the project, it is planned to cut down 784 hazardous trees by the end of 2025, which pose a threat to cemetery visitors and may damage gravestones. The work is to be completed by December 31, 2025.
