In Kyiv, law enforcement officials uncovered a 43-year-old resident of the Troieshchyna district who organized the sale of hand grenades.

Details of the Police Operation
Operatives from the Desnyansky Police Department identified the man, who had previously been convicted of drug trafficking and property crimes. He was released from prison only in April 2025. After returning to freedom, the Kyiv resident acquired three hand grenades with fuses. Later, he decided to sell two of them.
Seizure of Weapons and Arrest
During a controlled operation, when the suspect attempted to sell the ammunition, he was caught in the act. Police seized material evidence from the man. An additional search of the criminal’s residence revealed another grenade and its fuse.
Capital police uncovered a Troieshchyna resident selling ammunition
Currently, law enforcement officials are investigating all circumstances of the case and determining the source of the ammunition, as well as any potential accomplices in the crime.
