In the Svyatoshyn district of the city, at least two residents were reportedly injured, and destruction was also recorded in the Darnytsia district. Additionally, due to a direct hit from enemy munitions on a 22-story residential building in the Pechersk district, structural damage occurred between the 4th and 8th floors. The fire was quickly extinguished, and rescuers saved one person with limited mobility.
Rescue Operations and Scale of Destruction
The Dnipro district of Kyiv suffered the greatest losses, where residents of a nine-story building were killed and injured due to a strike. Rescuers evacuated 17 individuals, including three children, and extinguished the fire that broke out on the fifth to eighth floors. Currently, work is ongoing to dismantle the destroyed structures and search for possible victims.
In the Svyatoshyn district, people may be trapped under the rubble of a non-residential building that was struck. Preliminary reports suggest that four individuals may have died, and at least three others were injured.
Serious damage has been recorded in the Holosiivskyi, Darnytsia, Desnyanskyi, Dnipro, and Pechersk districts. Residential buildings and civil infrastructure facilities have been affected.
Police, rescuers, and all emergency response services are working at the attack sites. Mobile police stations have been organized to assist residents, where citizens can seek help and provide information about missing or injured individuals.
