A fire broke out in one of the high-rise buildings in the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv, resulting in the rescue of nine residents. Two of them sustained injuries.

Fire on the Seventh Floor: Evacuation and Injuries
The incident occurred on Monday, July 7, in the morning, on Pavlo Li Lane. The fire ignited in an apartment located on the seventh floor of the residential building. Emergency services promptly arrived at the scene to evacuate residents and extinguish the flames.
During the rescue operation, nine individuals were evacuated. According to rescuers, two people were injured: one suffered from burns on their hands and legs, while another was in a state of acute stress. The injured received emergency medical assistance and were then handed over to medical personnel for further treatment.
Investigators Are Determining the Causes of the Fire
It took rescuers just over an hour to extinguish the fire, which was completely put out by 08:13. The total area affected by the fire was 30 square meters.
“The fire occurred in an apartment on the seventh floor. During the firefighting efforts, rescuers evacuated nine people. Two individuals were injured — one with burns on their hands and legs and another with an acute stress reaction, and they were handed over to medical personnel. The fire was extinguished at 08:13 over an area of 30 square meters,” the emergency services reported.
Currently, law enforcement agencies are investigating the causes of the fire. The investigation is ongoing, and residents of the building are being provided with the necessary assistance and support.
