The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, signed a decree appointing a new head of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission. The relevant document was published by the President’s Office on December 31, 2025.

Oleksiy Semenyuk – New Head of the NSSMC

According to the decree, the new head of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission is Oleksiy Volodymyrovych Semenyuk. This appointment is officially confirmed by the presidential order.

“Appoint Semenyuk Oleksiy Volodymyrovych as the Head of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission.”

Changes in the Commission’s Leadership

Prior to Semenyuk’s appointment, the commission was headed by Ruslan Magomedov, who held the position since February 2021. However, Volodymyr Zelensky dismissed him from this position, and the reasons for this decision were not officially disclosed.
