In the Svyatoshyn district of Kyiv, efforts are actively being made to address the restoration of destroyed housing and support for affected residents. The district has suffered significant damage due to enemy actions, particularly on Semyrenka, Zhmerynska, Vasyl Kuchera streets, Lesya Kurbas Avenue, and Kremenetsky Lane.

Scope of Assistance and Organization of Work
To date, two thousand applications have been submitted to the city program “Care. Towards Kyivans” for financial assistance of 10,000 hryvnias. An additional 340 applications pertain to compensation for housing rental. All requests are being processed promptly, as emphasized by the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachенко.
To provide effective assistance to residents, operational groups of specialists are being formed in the district to address both typical and individual issues. The functions of social managers have been introduced, who will support each family throughout the entire process of restoration and receiving payments.

New Communication Tools and Work with Affected Individuals
In addition to the Svyatoshyn district, similar work is being carried out in the Holosiivskyi district. Here, the “eSupport” chatbot has been introduced, which contains instructions, a list of types of assistance, and contact information for inquiries. This allows residents to receive information and support more quickly.
“Together with the district leadership and city officials, we are working with the people. Kyivans have come to talk to be heard, and officials need to speed up their response,” noted Timur Tkachенко on social media.
Separately, Tkachенко reported on a meeting with residents of buildings on Zhylianska Street in the Holosiivskyi district that were affected by a missile attack from the Russian Federation on August 28. As a result of the attack, about a hundred buildings were damaged, thousands of windows were shattered, and not only apartments but also common areas were affected.
Currently, in this district, 630 applications for the payment of 10,000 hryvnias have been accepted, 12 applications for receiving 40,000 hryvnias, as well as two applications for monthly financial assistance of 20,000 hryvnias for rental compensation. Three families (10 individuals) have applied for temporary housing, and the issue is being resolved promptly.
In the district’s CNAP, three social managers have already been designated for individual support of the affected individuals. They will assist residents at all stages of processing payments and restoring housing.
