At the 54th Kyiv International Film Festival ‘Molodist’, the winners of this year’s competition were announced. The awards ceremony took place in the Red Hall of the House of Cinema, where the names of the laureates were revealed.

Main Award and Other Honors
The Grand Prix of the festival was awarded to the psychological drama ‘Tired’ directed by Yuriy Dunay. The film explores the complex healing journey of its two main characters — Lyuba and Andriy, who are war veterans. The plot is dedicated to their struggle with emotional traumas, personal fears, and societal indifference, as well as their search for support in each other.
The main award of the festival – the Grand Prix – was won by the film ‘Tired’ by Ukrainian director Yuriy Dunay.
The film was produced by the film company ‘Illienko Film Productions’ with the support of the State Agency of Ukraine for Cinema.
In addition to the main award, a special prize was awarded to Roman Oleksiv, the hero of the documentary film ‘Romchik’. His story deeply touched the festival audience.
Honorary Awards and New Projects
The honorary ‘Scythian Deer’ for outstanding contribution to the development of Ukrainian cinema was presented to director, artist, and educator Serhiy Masloboyshchikov.
Special attention was given to the RAW PITCH — a special platform for presenting film projects with international potential. In this category, the winner was the project ‘Wolves on the Mars Field’ by director Maryna Shkrabaluk. The project ‘Language of Fish’ by Halyna Lavrinets also received a special award.
The 54th ‘Molodist’ Film Festival once again demonstrated the high level of Ukrainian cinematography and unveiled new names that are shaping the future of national cinema.
