On June 7 and 8, the Kobzar Trinity Festival will take place in Kyiv, traditionally uniting kobzars, bandurists, and lira players from various corners of Ukraine.

Festival Program and Participants’ Repertoire
During the event, guests will have the opportunity to hear dumy, historical and Cossack songs, chants, and psalms that form the foundation of the repertoire of traditional kobzars and lira players. The performances of the participants will fill the atmosphere of the celebration with a unique Ukrainian flavor.

In addition to the concert program, the organizers are preparing a series of masterclasses, the blessing of new musical instruments, and free kobzaring on the streets of the city. Thanks to this, residents of Kyiv and guests of the capital will be able to get closer to the unique cultural heritage of Ukraine.

- June 7 – National Museum of Folk Architecture and Life of Ukraine (Akademika Tronka St.), from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- June 8 – Territory of the St. Michael’s Golden-Domed Monastery (Three Saints St., 8), from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
- June 8 – Ivan Honchar Museum (Lavrska St., 19), from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
The Kobzar Trinity Festival gathers more and more fans of Ukrainian traditional music every year, engaging new generations of Ukrainians in the preservation and popularization of cultural heritage.
