In Dnipro, a Russian missile with cluster munitions struck a multi-story residential building. According to the latest data, the number of injured has risen to 26 people, among whom 14 are hospitalized, while the others are receiving outpatient treatment. Doctors have reported a severe condition for a 55-year-old man who sustained burns to 70% of his body, and medical staff are fighting for his life. Unfortunately, three people died as a result of the attack.

“The enemy’s target was our infrastructure, residential areas, and civilian enterprises. A direct hit by a missile with cluster munitions was recorded in a high-rise building in Dnipro. As of now, dozens of injured have been reported due to the shelling. Three people, unfortunately, have died. My condolences to the relatives and loved ones,” stated President Volodymyr Zelensky.

In the Khmelnytskyi region, during the firefighting efforts in one of the houses in the Dunayivtsi community, rescuers discovered the body of a man born in 1979. Two other residents sought medical assistance but did not require hospitalization.

Scale of the Attack and Response from Ukrainian Authorities

The Ukrainian Air Force reported that a total of 619 strike drones and air and ground-based missiles were launched at Ukrainian territories overnight. The air defense forces managed to neutralize 552 Shahed-type drones and imitators, as well as two Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles and 29 X-101 cruise missiles.

President Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized that such attacks by Russia are not a military necessity but a deliberate strategy to intimidate the civilian population and destroy critical infrastructure. He called for increased international support, particularly to strengthen the air defense system, increase arms supplies, and expand sanctions against the Russian military complex and the sectors that finance it.

Russian military forces systematically shell Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons, including strike drones, missiles, guided aerial bombs, and multiple launch rocket systems. The Russian leadership denies strikes on civilian infrastructure; however, Ukrainian authorities and international organizations classify such actions as war crimes that are targeted in nature.
