In the Shevchenkivskyi district of the capital, full tram traffic has been restored on Hlibovytska Street after extensive reconstruction. Thanks to the completion of the repair work, residents and visitors to the city can once again use public transport along the usual routes.
Which Routes Are Returning to Their Lines
According to the Department of Transport Infrastructure of the Kyiv City State Administration, tram routes No. 14, which runs between Vydradnyi Avenue and Kontraktova Square, and No. 18, which connects Kontraktova Square with Starovokzalna Street, have resumed service on Hlibovytska. Additionally, bus route No. 112 “Mykytanka Street – Lukiavska Metro Station” has also returned to its regular schedule.
“On December 16, public transport will resume its regular routes on Hlibovytska Street. This is related to the completion of the tram track repairs and the reconfiguration of the contact network on this street,” the statement said.
Changes to Bus Routes
In connection with the launch of tram services, the temporary bus route No. 14-T “Vydradnyi Avenue – Kontraktova Square” will cease operations on December 16. This route was introduced only during the repair work and is now unnecessary as trams return to their tracks.

The restoration of public transport will allow residents of the area to move around the city more quickly and conveniently, as well as relieve other routes that were overloaded during the repairs.
