The Venue Has Yet to Be Determined

Currently, the final venue for the meeting remains a topic of discussion. Among the potential locations being considered are the United Arab Emirates, Hungary, Switzerland, and Rome. A final decision on this matter has not yet been made.

According to White House representatives, the organizational details and logistics of the meeting are still uncertain. It is still unknown whether Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will participate in the negotiations, as well as which other parties will be involved in the process.

Russia’s Demands and Ukraine’s Position

A White House representative added that the Russian Federation has already provided the U.S. with a list of its demands for a possible ceasefire. The American side is currently consulting with the Ukrainian authorities and European allies to coordinate positions.

At the same time, official Kyiv has repeatedly emphasized that it will not agree to any concessions regarding territories that Russia has illegally annexed. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and other officials firmly stand in defense of the country’s territorial integrity.

“President Trump made it clear six months ago when he inherited this war from Joe Biden: he wants it to end at the negotiating table… Out of respect for our delicate diplomatic negotiations with Russia, Ukraine, and our European allies, the White House will not comment on details reported by the media.”

The White House emphasizes that it will not provide additional comments on the details being discussed in the media to avoid jeopardizing the diplomatic process.
