Zelensky Appoints New Heads of Regional Administrations in Four Regions

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has signed decrees appointing new heads of regional state administrations in four regions. The relevant documents were published by the President’s Office on January 8.

New Appointments in Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, and Chernivtsi Regions

According to the decrees, Natalia Zabolotna has become the head of the Vinnytsia Regional State Administration. Oleksandr Hanzha has taken over the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, Vitaliy Diakivnych is now at the helm of the Poltava Regional State Administration, and Ruslan Osypenko has been appointed head of the Chernivtsi Regional State Administration.

Changes in Regional Leadership and Personnel Rotations

In addition to the appointments, in other decrees, Volodymyr Zelensky relieved Vladyslav Haivanenko of his duties as head of the Dnipropetrovsk region. Vyacheslav Nehoda was also dismissed from the position of head of the Ternopil Regional State Administration based on his submitted resignation.

Earlier, Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko reported on the government’s submission of candidates for the positions of heads of four regional military administrations for the president’s consideration.

On January 4, President Zelensky informed about conducting interviews with candidates for leadership positions in five regions: Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Ternopil, and Chernivtsi.
