Decision of the Solomiansky District Court
The Solomiansky District Court of Kyiv considered the case regarding the selection of a preventive measure for Lyudmyla Kovalevska. The prosecution insisted on applying bail as a preventive measure for the suspect. However, the court made a different decision, denying the prosecutor’s request.
“The court’s decision is that the prosecutor’s request has been denied, and Lyudmyla Oleksandrivna is obliged to appear at every summons from the investigator and the prosecutor,” said Kovalevska’s lawyer Vitaliy Chayun.

Lyudmyla Kovalevska herself publicly commented on the court’s decision. She noted that she considers the imposition of a preventive measure unnecessary, but positively assesses the court’s decision as the least severe of the possible measures.
The deputy emphasized that she is ready to fulfill her obligations and cooperate with the investigation. According to the court’s ruling, Kovalevska must appear at every summons from the investigator and the prosecutor while the investigation into the fraud suspicion is ongoing.
