In Kyiv, a large fire broke out at a recreation center in the Desnyanskyi district following a nighttime drone attack. According to the Kyiv City Military Administration, the fire was caused by debris from a destroyed enemy drone, resulting in the destruction of buildings and damage to vehicles. Rescue workers are on-site, and infrastructure damage has also been reported.

Over the past day, air raid alerts were declared three times in Kyiv due to the threat of ballistic weapon use and strike drones. A total of 11 enemy UAVs were detected in the city’s airspace, of which nine were destroyed by air defense systems, while two were lost to radar.
“After the debris from the downed drone fell, a fire broke out at the recreation center in the Desnyanskyi district. There is destruction and damage to buildings and vehicles. Rescue workers continue to operate on-site,” reported the Kyiv City Military Administration.
Casualties and consequences of the incident
Three people sought medical assistance due to injuries or burns. Currently, rescue workers are continuing to extinguish the fire and are surveying the area to prevent further damage.
