Emergency rescue operations have been completed in the Sviatoshyn district of the capital, organized following a massive missile attack by the Russian Federation. According to rescuers, over 360 tons of debris and building materials have been cleared from the site of the tragedy.

Scale of the Cleanup Efforts

Nearly 130 rescuers and 21 units of special equipment were involved in the operations at the impact site. Thanks to the coordinated actions of the specialists, the area was cleared and safety was ensured for the residents of the district.

“We remind you that on the night of September 7, as a result of a massive enemy shelling, 3 people died in a 9-story residential building, including 1 child. 11 people were injured. 7 people were rescued. Psychological assistance was provided to 171 individuals,” the State Emergency Service reported.

Consequences of the Strike and Status of the Investigation

The Kyiv police reported that as of the morning of September 8, law enforcement received 415 claims from owners of damaged property, of which 350 claims came specifically from the Sviatoshyn district. Investigators continue to document the consequences of the attack for further investigation and compensation for the damages incurred.
