Recently, law enforcement received a report about an elderly man in the Podil district of Kyiv who could not find his way home. The patrol officers quickly arrived at the scene and found a citizen who could not remember where he lived.
“A few days ago, we received a report about a lost citizen in the Podil district. The inspectors immediately arrived at the location, where they found the elderly man who could not recall where his home was,” said the capital’s patrol police.
Return home and police recommendations
The law enforcement officers established the man’s home address and contacted his son. It turned out that the relative was also searching for the missing person. The patrol officers invited the pensioner into their service vehicle and took him home, where he was reunited with his family.
The police emphasize the importance of being attentive to people who may find themselves in difficult circumstances on the street. Law enforcement encourages reporting found elderly people or children to the hotline 112 to help them safely return to their loved ones.
